A Family's Voyage Across the Atlantic".  "Adventure on the High Sea!" is for the young reader ages 8 to 13 but should appeal to a parent's sense of adventure as well.  The story is about my life onboard a 38 foot wooden sailboat when I was eleven years old. My parents decided that they would provide my brother and me with the adventure opportunity of a lifetime - a year-long voyage from England to Bermuda with stops in Spain, the Canary Islands, the Caribbean, Bermuda then home to England. Nothing ever goes as planned and our journey detoured to Africa and later to America where we eventually settled for good. The book describes the experiences, cultures and events which we encountered along the way. There are excerpts from the book on this site as well as photos. I hope you enjoy visiting.
